 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor as well as a comedian and activist. After immigrating to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as a child actor. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and now from 2020 on - made her famous. Apart from commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot television series called New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and is a Jew. When she was just two she left together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial troubles and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of her sophomore year and earned the GED. Following that she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
