Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, best known as the alias MrBeast is an American YouTube star, entrepreneur and an philanthropist. [6] He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that focus on expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson posted his first videos on YouTube at 13 under the name "MrBeast6000". His initial content was a mix of videos and Let's Plays in which he estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. The YouTuber became a viral hit in 2017 when he released his "Counting to 100,000" video, which was able to receive thousands of views in only two days. Donaldson hired many of his childhood friends as his assistants for his growing channel. MrBeast, Donaldson's main YouTube channel with over 100 million subscribers was launched in 2022.
